Mavise+ Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Mavise+ membership programme operated by Deepa International Ltd trading as Mavise Foods (“Mavise”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By joining Mavise+, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Mavise+ Membership

Mavise+ is a paid monthly membership programme available to eligible customers.

The membership costs £7.99 per month, paid by Direct Debit through our payment provider.

Membership benefits are available while your Mavise+ membership is active and your payments are up to date.

2. Mavise+ Benefits

10% Discount

Members receive 10% off eligible purchases made at Mavise Foods.

Certain products, services, promotions or legally restricted products may be excluded from the discount. Any exclusions will be communicated where applicable.

Mavise+ discounts cannot normally be combined with other discounts or promotional offers unless Mavise specifically states otherwise.

Free Monthly Item

Each active Mavise+ member is entitled to one selected free item per membership month.

The free item will be selected by Mavise and may change from month to month. Examples may include dosa batter, porotta, idli batter, snacks or other selected products.

The free item is subject to availability and may be replaced with an item of similar value.

Unused monthly free items do not carry forward to the following month.

Free Delivery

Mavise+ members are eligible for free delivery on qualifying Mavise website orders.

A minimum order value of £25 applies to delivery orders.

Free delivery is available to the registered address associated with the Mavise+ membership only and is subject to Mavise's delivery area and available delivery times.

A 50p website/service charge will apply to orders placed through the Mavise website. This charge is separate from the delivery charge and is payable by Mavise+ members even where delivery itself is free.

The 50p website/service charge does not count towards the £25 minimum order value unless otherwise stated.

3. Membership Payments

The Mavise+ membership fee is £7.99 per month.

Payment is collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless or another payment provider used by Mavise.

Membership will normally continue automatically each month until cancelled.

If a payment is unsuccessful, Mavise may suspend or terminate the membership and associated benefits until the payment issue is resolved.

4. Joining Mavise+

Customers must provide accurate information when joining Mavise+.

Membership is personal to the registered member and must not be shared or transferred to another person.

Mavise may refuse or cancel a membership where we reasonably believe that the membership is being misused, abused or used fraudulently.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your Mavise+ membership at any time.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid membership period unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Once the membership ends, Mavise+ benefits will no longer be available.

If you cancel after a monthly payment has already been collected, the payment will not normally be refunded unless you are entitled to a refund under applicable law or Mavise agrees otherwise.

6. Changes to Mavise+

Mavise may occasionally change, add or remove membership benefits.

Where a significant change affects the operation or value of the membership, we will provide reasonable notice where required.

Mavise may also change the membership price in the future. Where required by law, advance notice and any applicable cancellation rights will be provided.

7. Promotions and Availability

Mavise+ benefits are subject to product availability and applicable laws and regulations.

Some products may be excluded from discounts or other membership benefits, including products where restrictions apply by law.

Alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products and other age-restricted products remain subject to applicable age-verification and licensing requirements. Mavise+ membership does not remove or change any legal age or licensing requirements.

8. Misuse of Membership

Mavise reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, attempted resale, sharing of membership benefits, or other misuse of the programme.

Where a membership is terminated because of misuse, unused membership benefits may be cancelled.

9. Refunds

Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the relevant membership period has started, except where a refund is required by applicable law or otherwise agreed by Mavise.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have under UK consumer protection law.

Where applicable, customers may have statutory rights relating to cancellation, refunds, faulty goods, unfair contract terms and other consumer protections.

11. Privacy

Personal information provided when joining Mavise+ will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may use information provided by members to administer the membership, process payments, provide membership benefits and communicate important information about the programme.

13. Agreement to These Terms

By joining Mavise+, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
