How to use: Rinse the powa gently under cold water until just moistened and set aside to soften for 2–3 minutes — do not over-soak. For classic poha, heat oil in a pan, temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli, and onion, then add the softened powa with turmeric, salt, and a squeeze of lemon. Toss gently and serve garnished with fresh coriander and grated coconut. For chivda, dry roast or shallow fry the powa until crispy, then toss with nuts, spices, and dried fruits. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
